With locations across North America, Paul Davis is privileged to call many wonderful communities home. We’re honored to better these communities wherever and whenever needs arise, whether responding to disasters or supporting local causes with volunteers and funds. The company and its employees found four more ways to give back this Spring.
Paul Davis of Greater Denver donated staff time, equipment, products and expertise to clean the Denver Ronald McDonald House. Teaming up with members of the Professional Association of Cleaning and Restoration, the group cleaned thousands of square feet of carpet during a comprehensive project valued at more than $15,000.
Paul Davis of Central Virginia sponsored a Local Hero event organized by The American Red Cross that recognizes outstanding individuals in the community. As part of its sponsorship, the office nominated Stacey Norris for the Animal Hero Award. Norris founded HOWS, which improves outdoor dogs’ lives by providing them with dog houses, better chains, no-tip water buckets, food and eventually fences. The Animal Hero award honors an animal that has protected a human in a time of need or a person who has rescued an animal from a traumatic situation.
Paul Davis of Central Virginia also pitched in at HOWS to support the organization’s mission, donating time and materials for a fence build event. Volunteers released lucky pups Mac, Hypo and Pearl from chains into fenced enclosures thanks to this great project. View the heartwarming video here.
Jennifer Toering, Director of Marketing for Paul Davis Canada, joined some of our business partners at a social purpose event in London, Ontario. London Clean & Green originated in 1996 as a single day event aimed at gathering volunteers to clean up the garbage and graffiti in London’s downtown core. Over the years, the initiative has grown substantially to include more volunteers, cover a larger area, and involve a variety of organizations.
